Our next trip to the coast of North Yorkshire will be a mountain bike expedition from Scarborough to Whitby. The visit will coincide with the second weekend in Whitby Goth. This is our second visit this year in North Yorkshire, this trip is a stag weekend. We arrive at Scarborough by train Friday, October 30 and travel through Whitby, during the weekend for track and trail on our mountain bikes. The trip is to take us across the moors and hills facing the single track through the hills and take in some breathtaking scenery. The group is composed of 12 riders strong medium to semi-professional level of competence. The chosen route should prove a challenge to all participants, because none of us has mounted this particular field before. There will certainly be one or two surprises in store for everyone, a journey into the unknown, and an adventure. Our first stop will be the Scarborough YHA. Having never stayed in this hostel before, it will be interesting to see how it compares to the splendor recently renovated and restored to its neighbor Whitby. After reading reviews and articles on the weekend at the Whitby Goth Guide it was decided that we would organize our deer around him and based on the theme Goth Dress ATV.
