Vs. Big Bear Mountain High Traffic? I'm debating whether to go to Big Bear or Mountain High Ski Sunday. Mt High's will be shorter and easier (I'm from the Claremont / Ontario Region), and heard Big Bear has a lot of traffic on weekends. But Mt High is also slightly more expensive.
What would you recommend? The ski much better place to another? And how long do I intend to spend to pass through the mountains with the traffic if I go to Big Bear? Is it worth sitting in traffic as a whole?

Never been to Mt. High because I always go to BB. (I have a place there too.
I really doubt that Mt. Hello is more money
Sunday is a good day to go, certainly better than Saturday when you may need a reservation. (Better check with them for reservations Sunday, just in case.
If I drive in the morning (I always go at night) I would take Highway 38. It is a little further, but not near traffic.
Have fun and if you are good enough to try the creek bed below the wall. I here it is opened.
