Budget Hotels Sydney

Posted on January 28, 2012.
I am in Canberra my budget is AUD300 hotel and transport to Sydney for 3 days is it okay?

I plan to travel around Sydney this July for my budget is AUD300 for cheaper hotel single room in 3-4 days and less back and forth transmission tariff from Canberra to Sydney. It would be cheaper if I travel in backpacker? Any recommendations for travel agency help me? It is good if the hotel is close to the opera or in the city of China. This is a theme park in Sydney? What will you recommend another place to visit in Sydney? Thank you for the reply.

Your budget of $ 300 for the standard of accomidation you want, is not enough.

Here are some costs to consider when planning your trip.

The best way to travel from Canberra to Sydney would be to use the Greyhound bus. Currently there is a special one-way tickets only $ 15 each.

Also had a quick search of all backpackers in Sydney that I know are in the city center.
And for a single room as they average $ 100 per night.

Station Square YHA

hostelid = 215 & CFID = 5346387 & CFTOKEN = 8637 ...
Sydney Central YHA

Wakeup (near Central Station)

And there are the backpackers Sydney
20% http://www.sydneybackpackers.com/Room ...
(This is a bit cheaper at $ 69 for a single room)

It is unlikely that all budget hotels in the CBD will be cheaper than those options.
So be prepared to share a dormitory in a hostel.

What to do when you're here?

Stroll around the city and sightseeing.
For example - The Rocks, Sydney Harbour Bridge (Climb the stairs of the south tower for good views of the harbor), the Opera, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Art Gallery of NSW, Hyde Park, Pitt St Mall, Paddy's Market, Darling Harbour, etc.

Or take the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly and visit the beach and harbor views from North Head.
Taronga Zoo is a nice place to visit and only a ferry journey by bus / away from the city.

Is there a theme park (with towers) in Sydney? - Only Luna Park.
This is good but it's nothing compared to major amusement parks, you can visit the Gold Coast.

I hope this info is a good starting point.

You're not going to get a backpack in the middle of town and not one for $ 40 a night if you were after.

I suggest that $ 300 is quite tight budget for this. I am not sure of backpackers, but if you are able to find for under $ 50, you may be fine. You can compare hotel premises known as Kings Cross, and near the Central Station.

There is no theme park in Sydney, but Luna Park is good. You can find his information here www.lunaparksydney.com

As for recommended places, it depends more on your taste, there are many places you can find some tourist information and choose what you want to see. If you can increase your budget for atleast $ 500 and you have a comfortable journey.

Good luck and have fun.

Not a chance of a snowball in hell.
