25. An American Werewolf in London (1981) Directed by John Landis
In many ways, the horror is the most difficult to identify gender in terms of quality. Maybe you grew up in the 30s and see the mummy boxes after someone for the first time scared bejeezus out of you (seriously, this guy catches?) Or you crawl under your seat when you saw the birds in the '60s, an era that, through horror revitalized for a new set of concepts and Alfred Hitchcock ... Well, Alfred Hitchcock (although to be honest, I always thought it was a little overdone. ... really birds? is what is keeping people at night?), or you were a teenager down on the gore and boobage free for years 70 / 80 horror movies. Maybe you're a fan of Japanese horror and chills of pasty, bug-eyed children owned or how they feel freaky new killing people. Or maybe you enjoy the new era of horror films - those who actually integrating plot and character development. In other words, calls the ruling a big ol '- classic horror of a person is another schlock. Speaking of schlock, we land on our first entry: American Werewolf in London. I think John Landis takes a similar view about the horror that I do: that horror movies are not really scare people ... they may hinder, they can push you, you might be wondering why you're laughing at something so sick ... but they don 't scare So, a werewolf, he established the black humor on thick machine storm troopers ... Orc-ish Gunning a young family to watch the Muppets, the best friend of the deceased main character appearing in the movie continuous decomposition form, etc. And then every time you lulled into thinking how the film is purely goofy, someone is manhandled. Sweet. The effects are particularly bad (they were and are even more dated now) and the game is terrible ... but I would like to start a marathon of horror with this just to cleanse my palate. 24. The Devil's Rejects (2003) Directed by Rob Zombie
There was always a relationship between horror and heavy metal. The dark themes, black clothes, the excesses of over-loud. It does not take a genius to deduce that someone renames Rob Zombie is obsessed with the genre. And boy is it ever a fucked up poobah. The trend in horror films over the last 10 years has been constantly escalating acts of depravity indifferent, starting with the Japanese brutal torture porn popularized in the Saw movies. Devil's rejects what stands out the view. Most movies are torture told from the perspective of victims. Zombie makes the movie psychos central anti-hero with the personality and background stories that you are meant to sympathize with and root. Zombie introduced these characters in House of 1000 Corpses, but this movie was silly on-the-top horror movies in the vein of Evil Dead, so it was easier to laugh and dismiss. It is altogether more worrying for its seriousness. Zombie pulls it with a handheld, so that the contact with reality Ampere really torture scenes. He cast his wife as one of the main characters shows how messed up Zombie really is. Sheri Moon Zombie affected me so much during part of the production it had to take 2 days off to recover. Now that metal. And that baby horror. 23. Suspiria (1977) Directed by Dario Argento CommentsThere are no comments.Leave a Comment | Recent Posts Other Blogs |
