Coleman Stoves

Posted on January 16, 2011.
Why does my stove Coleman look like that?

Here is a picture of my 2 burner Coleman stove:

We used it like 3 times. As you can see, the right side is all black and discolored. I feel like the metal is bent or something. I tried cleaning it, but in vain.

Am I doing something wrong or is this just normal?

Looks like the normal discoloration of the heat of the flame.

It is quite normal. Remember that you have gas coming out of there that is burning. Expect to fading. Do not worry.

You should not see a typical flame - just blue-which is the gas ignited. As the gas begins to run out, you'll notice a few yellow-orange flames.

law expected of me .. I have two Coleman-like stuff. One of the older style that uses liquid fuel and a modern Coleman 2 burner that uses bottled gas. They look identical to yours ... This is perfectly normal use discoloration. Nothing to fear!

If this model has the adjustable clamp for the fuel-air mixture, try turning that to allow some air less. Sorry for the event, but I never got my hands on this model of knowledge.

It looks like a normal discoloration caused by heat from the flame. It is normal.

which is the fourth own camp stove seen in a long time for getting ust going to get worse for her. cleaning? try cloth soke vinegar let stand for spot sos pad do take a lot of preasure u do not want to scratch

I wish my camp stove that looked nice! This is just from normal use.

Looks good to me. Having used a few times it will not stay nice and pretty. We used our three or four times and it looks like that. It is caused by the heat of the flame. Nothing to fear.

Try cooking with him again. if you can still get heat and cook on it then it's fine. Otherwise, there should be a number of technical support on the user manual or you can try to find it on their website

You may want to consider if there is any blockage in the gas lines. I use compressed air to blow out any obstruction of my lines to improve the quality of engraving.

its quite normal. the flame is not easy to see because it is a gas fire not a regular fire

It's just discoloration from heat. All you can do is clean with a pad of steel wool as well as possible and call yourself. Finally, it becomes darker everywhere.

Only from the heat. It will be OK

Seems normal to me, it's just discoloration from heat
