How to pack for a move

Start collection boxes about a month or more before the actual move date. Supermarkets have a big clean crates, urging them to keep some for yourself or pick them up every time you shop. Cover your furniture with any type of material you can find; sheets or table clothes do a good job. Secure with tape to prevent them from getting dirty. Start packing early to minimize the rush '.

1. Be sure to pack everything that belongs to a private room in a room marked box. It also makes it easier when unpacking you wherever you go. Start packing a room at a time, packing small items first to get them off the track. Carefully mark and the band of each box so you can find everything when you unpack.

2. Pack an "Open First" box and include items such as dish soap, sponges, a roll of paper towels, tissues, a couple pens, scissors, paper plates / plastic / forks, can opener bottle, bath towels for each family member, a pot, a pan, a plastic stirring utensil, an additional cutter, etc. Think of small objects at hand, you may want access to forward to unpack all the boxes. Keep in mind, people should wash their hands, eat, shower and long before you unpack at the other end of the passage. In addition, mix in a candy like life savers or hard candy in case someone gets really hungry blood sugar or low on movements in the day.

3. A suitcase or box for each family member several days in advance. Include a personal bar of soap companies, toothbrush and toothpaste, towel and washcloth, disposable razor, if necessary, certain "relaxation" of clothing (sweats or something similar) and two complete changes of clothing, and any you know what each person will need during the early days (when everyone else is in boxes). Keep these boxes or bags in a safe place where they do not mix with everything else, maybe in the car or even further (from work or a neighbor). Bring with you in the car or you're traveling.

4. Create a "move file" with important documents you will need throughout your move. Include: moving truck reservation, relocation assistance payment codes (if applicable), pets veterinary records of Cash for tips movers, hotel reservations, details of important people (real estate agent or landlord) and any important document that you might need before you have a chance to decompress. Keep this file in a location course, as in your case, you will not accidentally packed in a box.

5. Clean the kitchen. Toss away junk and things that you use one box. Use your kitchen containers for food storage of all things in bulk you find that you empty the kitchen drawers, desks, drawers or table. Do not forget to look inside the dishwasher. Label boxes by content and room they belong, then firmly close or save them. Use bags of various companies for the same purpose. Add a sticky note inside each bag taking note of the contents as "stereo cables" and "pens and pencils." Place all containers and bags inside a larger box with room and content.

6. Start taking part all items large and put all equipment in Ziploc bags double thickness depending on the content and the audience. Keep all bags in a box with the appropriate tools - Allen keys, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. This will make it easier to put everything together when you moved in

7. Make sure you keep the box of equipment and tools in a central location where everyone can find it. This will re-assembly much easier. Place it in the little things like ear plugs video remotes, boxes of nails and things you will need immediately after moving in

8. Stack the boxes as you finish filling, adhesive tape, and label them. Try to keep the stack in the rooms you have finished packing. Keep all power strips and extension cords and adapters to land in a particular box, they will be much easier.
