Heavenly Ski Resort LodgingPosted on January 27, 2012. Where should I plan on skiing / riding next year?
Now is the time of year I usually start planning my ski trips. selection of accommodation are numerous, and there are deals on season passes. I have been skiing / riding for 12 years. I usually go with a group of about 8 people and rent a 4 bedroom house for about 10-14 days. We all Fl, and in our early 30's. I was at the time three or four heavenly, and it's perfect because you get deals on season passes and prices the houses and the nightlife is very good. Breck / Vail are nice enough for these reasons as well. But we were there too. nightlife of Park City's great-but there are no real deals on lift tickets and the houses tend to be expensive for this area. I looked in Big Sky, but I'm not sure the nightlife and the cost factor. Whistler is obviously a number of choices, except for money. Stowe was pleasant but a little small. Ski East Coast is expected to the fact that we are spoiled by the sweet pow. What am I missing edge friendly (cat trails minimum) budget friendly, decent nightlife (I refuse to use the term Apres Ski-sorry), and a great mountain in January or February? Appreciate any suggestions. I recommend going a few stops CO Durango Mountain Resort is not famous, but it is excellent! They have 2 lifts, bumps on some major runs near Lift 8 and a new pavilion. They do not have much nightlife, though. Another idea would be Aspen. It has four mountains: Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass, and buttermilk. These mountains are hard and are fun to ski. world-class skiing is more vocal. Beaver Creek is good if you want to ski smart. Fresh cookies are served at the lifts, slopes are good, and escalators and moving walkways are conveniently in the picturesque village. I used to live in big sky mt and is really fun, theres even a ski resrt in what is called whitefish, as in the mountains and they are really fun Aspen Snowmass and are really good. You can save on lodging if you stay in Snowmass is just minutes by shuttle bus from Aspen. Obviously Aspen has a reputation of being expensive, but you can find it if it's not too expensive. But with 4 of his mountains a really good choice. In addition, Snowbird and Alta is a good choice. Residents arent allowed alta well and there is not much nightlife, but I think it's pretty nice on the budget. Jackson Hole is also a choice with a decent nightlife and a caring budget. Skiing is extreme but if you arent all expert skiers could notbe the best choice. CommentsThere are no comments.Leave a Comment | Recent Posts Other Blogs |
