cheapest way to travel to Amsterdam in late August from London?

Try to get the cheapest means of transport as possible so we have more to spend when we are there and spend more on accommodation.

I tried to Ryanair, but they do not bloody fly! EasyJet price was a little more expensive than I would have liked. Are they going down if you get a last minute deal?

We intend to use Easyjet and Hotels.com.

Would a ferry cheaper? But we would be better to fly.

Suggestions?

Keep control of easyJet tariffs several times a day. This is your best bet. I'd stay away from hotels.com and try another site. Hotels.com is too great and probably costs you a lot of extra cost. Just google "London to Amsterdam" and enter the date and Google will give you plenty of options.

EasyJet is not so good, try VLM. SkyEurope also consider

I also had some luck with http://www.cheapoair.com. They seem to be good for Europe and roughly the equivalent of U.S. cheaptickets.com.

The cheapest is the long way from London to Harwich Harwich, then a dam.

Dutch barges coming into the Thames. They used to attach along the Bankside in the 1960s. Not sure if you can get transportation by boat over the Pool of London.

Just do it backward etc.

Netherlands Getting From the latter, the train three times a day combi / boat will take you right to London. This option is one of the cheapest ways to get to Amsterdam ...
