Last minute plane ticket? I want to head to Australia to visit my family at friends. im 15, im young but ive traveled alone before. this is my 8th time there if I go. Nevertheless, airlines are where they sell last minute, and I mean last minute deals on flights as standby? i need very cheap tickets to Australia because the flights are now very expensive. If anyone knows of any airlines flying from San Francisco or Los Angeles to Sydney, Brisbane that last minute list em please!
I will not be around for long either. I would have at least a week
You can visit sites such as travel http://www.kayak.com or even http://www.lastminutetravel.com but it is very unlikely to find tickets not really. The economy begins to pick up and more people fly if the price of airline tickets are higher than they were last year. You can also check to see if Qantas, Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand, United and Delta have promotions, but you have to go to the website of the airline for that.
Yeah, you're out of luck. last minute flight are never cheap, and I'm not exaggerating. The best you can do is arrive at the airport the day you want to fly and ask if they have anything available at the box office. Sometimes, very rarely do they have unsold seats they want to do so they sell them at a very low price. However, I would say there is no more than 5% chance of success with this method. Thus, you can try it and I hope you're lucky, or you will only return trip to another time. If you try an airline and there are no low fares, try another until you've tried all the airlines that fly to Australia.
