What is the best city in Mexico or the city for one month winter vacation two? Condo rental recommendations? We love Maui, but are looking for something cheaper and just as beautiful. You want to go swimming and snorkeling and a condo overlooking the water. Any recommendations?
Well, it depends on your age and interest. There are many beautiful cities in Mexico. Some are really beautiful:
San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas. -> The town of Highlands Beautiful colonial buildings. fascinating Indian villages surrounding it, while the atmosphere of the city is both traditional and cosmopolitan. Not too expensive either.
San Miguel de Allende. -> Located in central Mexico. cobbled streets and old colonial buildings. You get the arid landscape too, lol. Very popular with American retirees.
Playa Del Carmen Mexico-Not so traditional, "but he has an ideal location on the Caribbean. Excellent restaurants and atmosphere. A little more expensive. Nice safe, sandy beaches with diving are nearby.

for a holiday two months of winter, I recommend the following:
1 .- San Carlos Sonora. Located in a 4 hour drive from Nogales, Arizona, you could get great winter vacation. The temperature ranges from 60 to 70 degrees. snorkeling, diving, mountain biking, you get everything
2 .- Sinaloa Mazatlan. a little further south (10 hour drive from Nogales), you get a little warmer weather and lots of fun
