Missouri Camping

We will move Oregon to Missouri to see my granddaughter graduate high frrom then to Michigan to see the family of Chuck. Have not been RULING if it is more economical to take the truck and camper, take the car, or fly and rent a car.
Camping is the most fun because we have our own bed. Any information any of you would be appreciated.
