Go to New York a few questions? sorry if this is redundant .. and many questions ..
Paramount Hotel is nice?
it's worth the money to go see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway?
This places the time around is a must?
What are the absolute must-sees in the city, preferably a short list that I only have about 2 full days for sightseeing?
Is this really common assault? what should I keep it with me, just in case?
everyone is really as tough for the tourists as people say?
thank you in advance (:

2. I've never seen that one but I really want and everyone says they love
3. Shop MTV, Hard Rock Cafe
4. shopping, Central Park, Empire State Building, places like NBC
5. No, things just do not let down but honestly u will be 99%
6. not at all, it should be fun for u
GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!
ok I was born in Manhattan, so im sure I can help you. I think the Paramount Hotel is nice. and if you like the Broadway show Phantom of the Oprea worth your money i heard good things about it but it depends mostly on what you like. in the square of the time you get to the hard rock cafe if you're a fan of rock music, because they have accessories legendary rock and stuff there.
The attractions of the city
- Empire State Building (86th floor and go to see the rooftops of the city of New York)
- Statue of Liberty
- Central Park
- The Brooklyn Bridge
- Times Square
- All major buildings
and no people arent really tough. try not to make you look like a tourist I guess do not worry youll be fine oh and do not worry about being mugged it doesn't happen much in Harlem and Brooklyn no real parts of Manhattan are most likely to go.
have fun
I do not know the first two.
Being in Times Square is cool, most of the show goes outside world, but M & M is pretty cool.
Be sure to see Rockefeller Center and go to "The summit of the Rock" for best view in town. The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are a long tour if you only have two days, I'd go to Battery Park and look at things, but skip the trek to the island for real this time.
I was there for a week and nothing happened to me. Stay in crowded places and beware of pickpockets.
And everyone I met was really nice, all that hard on New Yorkers is a stereotype.
* Stay at the Hilton Times Square. chic and cheap.
* It is worth the money to play.
Mamma Mia is a good Broadway play.
* Essentials are: Central Park, Metropolitan Mueseum, Upper East Side, Times Square, Broadway, and Mon Petit Cafe and Restaurant
* Does not really get mugged. but it really depends on where you are, like Harlem, the Bronx, and broklyn.
* People arent rude, hurt someone, hehe
1) Never heard of him
2) Yes, I went to see my school, it was awesome
3) Go to BBQ Store Hello Kitty, The Ripley's Museum, Madame Tuskanke (sp) This is a wax museum, AMC, Toys R Us The stands, Planet Hollywood. Oh I can cite thousands of other places.
4) The statue if liberty, Site 9 / 11 memory, the Empire State Building, shopping at Macys in 34th St.
5) No, you will not get mugged, do not bring anything valuable as you might lose. But bring a camera.
6) No one is really tough, do not stay in the middle of the street to take pictures because people hate it. In addition to bring shoes comfty square because time is always crowded and there are a lot of walking to do.
Oh and go to Central Park.
I live in the Big Apple Manhattan.
1. Yes, very. One of my friends had a bar mitzvah there, I liked it.
2. Very worth the money. One of the first musicals I've seen.
3. You Madame Tussaud.
