best place to change your money is in Tsim Sha Tsui .. go to Beijing Road, past the new Hyatt Hotel and continue straight, cross the street and you will see a small gallery in front of you, it has some exchange booths, and the first right as you go two steps is the best in HK .. we still use it .. you get the best exchange rate from anywhere in HK .. and you will not get ripped off

if you do not get off at Tsim Sha Tsui, you can use your Visa or MasterCard by any HSBC ATM machine, you may have to pay a small commission on the transaction, but you get the best rate of the day .. just be sure to empty your card before you tell your bank you travel
