However, in recent years Japan has also entered the game, it's not as if they had just begun to receive more snow, but rather as the word begins to emerge in communities with snow and the amount the quality of the snow that the small island receives.
Japan has 100 quality stations across the country, but the northern island of Hokkaido which has received the reputation as one of the largest destinations of the powder in the world with a range of stations to please everyone.

Make sure you take your equipment for avalanche safety and open up massive opportunities for hiking. Be sure to make your way back to the gondola and start over.
If first-class facilities for children, or a luxury tropical island atmosphere is more your priority, make sure east to Club Med Sahoro Resort, located just outside of Obihiro. You will find all the facilities you would normally find from a Club Med for your entertainment off the hill and is without doubt the best resort for kids to enjoy.
Road to Niseko area, between Sapporo and Niseko Rusutsu Resort you will find. A great escape from the crowd Niseko and easy access from Sapporo. With three ski resorts there are plenty of terrain to keep you in finding new lines and untouched powder all day. When night falls, you can go to the half-pipe and take a few laps under the lights if your legs are up!
