Anyone been to Sirenis La Salina Varadero Beach Resort? Hello all,
I'm going to Sirenis La Salina Varadero Beach Resort in early March. I read many good things .. and many bad. I wonder how much money or I should say the peso tours. I only read what the buses to the city and it's not .. nobody said much about the cost of visits, cigars or something like that .. if you know the cost of random things around the hotel can you please let me know .. just want to get an idea of how much money to do:)
Thank you!
Also .. Has anyone had something stolen? or not at all someone who has been robbed of their own will in Varadero or Havana? I've never been outside my own country and not very well what to expect yet.
Check-25pesos costs. If you do not have money, they will not let you come home!
Have a alteast 100pesos additional trips (between 50-90pesos for a trip)
-Also a lot of tipping money. You're tipping for dinner breakfast, lunch and drinks (only if you want good service!)
- Provide small gifts or old clothes / shoes etc and you do not want to leave it there for them, they appriciate.
Silver for gifts, etc.
Rum 4pesos costs on a bottle, cigar-dependent there is good and then there are those scam (beware, they look alike!)
Your allowed to bring two bottles and I think 20 cigars. They will tell you if your going.
Canada will give $ 125 93pesos.
Ive been to Varadero before (going again in early March) its very safe. Been to Cuba twice never had anything stolen or felt Indanga. My boyfriend and I walked the streets and walked on the beach after dark. They are super friendly if you do not worry!
I hope this helped:)
After ten visits to Cuba and wandering around Havana and Trinidad on the Caribbean coast of the island at night, I can honestly say I've never felt anything other than safe. But common sense, do not wear flashy jewelry or expensive, or show a stack of bills. If you too are likely to be stolen, it will be an certainly not another tourist resort employees.
